About this object

A White Painted II cup with a stemmed foot, a slightly flared rim and one vertical handle from rim to shoulder The cup is decorated with two thin brown lines around the body. The interior has a circle painted close to its base. The foot, the rim and and the handle are also painted in dark brown. The paint of the handle continues in the two small curves on the body of the cup, prerhaps reflecitng the movement of the potter's brush. The decoration is in a good condition. The cup has been repaired with a small piece missing from the base.
