About this object

A medium size jug with an ovoid body and a small flat base, a short neck with a cut away spout and a handle from the spout to the shoulder. On either side of the handle there is a knob on the neck The excavation reports that the jug has potter's mark on the handle but this is not easily discerned as much of the red polished slip has falled off. The jug is in Red Polished ware of theType IA1fI.
