Mummiform shabti with white body, broad collar, long blue wig, painted beard and red skin.

A new number was given in 1967 after the original number had been lost (1 of 17 shabti figures reassigned a new number). Pencil mark seems to say 483 (8 being uncertain) or 463 or 488 or 886- Abydos? Univ. Loan number? Evacuation List, 'Mr Shaw, Fron House', List No. 1370 Inst. Arch Shawabti - wood. Contents of Vent Case 55/ Pier Case 29. Abydos tomb 886 A'09 contained "large number of wooden figures". Abydos tomb 8 A'06 contained "small ushabti figures"; Danson was alloted a wooden shabti from the 1906 season and gave it to the Institute. Could this be the one mentioned in the evacuation list?
