About this object

Blue glazed steatite scarab shaped seal with Canaanite style decoration on the underside. Incised with the nomen of Seshi of the 15th Dynasty (Hyksos) in a cartouche with inscription"Son of Ra" and "May he live forever". On either side are two ankh signs.
