About this object

Limestone ostracon with three lines of hieratic text in black ink on one side only. There is a transcription on the record card made by Percy Newberry and Eric Peet. In 1873 Samuel Birch, of the British Museum, examined it and said it "appears to refer to an account of corn of bushels of the same in all 5" (MS 7 November 1873).
