About this object

Alabaster cosmetic vessel with flat base, shouldered, constricted neck and wide flat rim. Shoulders have two small lug-handles which are not fully pierced. Banded stone in white, yellow and pale brown colours. From the excavations of John Garstang at Abydos, 1907, Tomb 35.
