About this object

Cypriot style flask with old display box which has a label stating that the flask is of Syrian type and was found in Thebes, Egypt. Lentoid body with tall neck and handle. Burnished surface. Black resin stuck to the surface on one side. Base ring type of ware (type 1 base ring).
