About this object

One of two papyrus rolls inscribed for the lady of the house, chantress of Amun Ra, Djed-iset-iw-s-ankh. This is an abbreviated version of the Amduat ('What is in the Netherworld'). The papyrus is attached to paper backing and had been kept under glass in a light oak picture frames until it was removed in 2008 and received som econservation treatment.
