About this object

Steatite (although may be ivory or bone) scarab shaped seal with the underside inscribed with the throne name of Thutmose III (Menkhepera) within a cartouche framed by two rearing cobras (uraei) on either side.

Was on acrylic mount with two others for a display in an education centre before 2008.
