About this object

Green glazed faience amulet in the form of a djed-pillar, both a symbol of the god Osiris and a hieroglyphic sign which means ‘enduring’, ‘stable’ and similar concepts.Laterally pierced at the back through the pillar. Metal ring passed through the piercing at the top of the amulet, most likely modern.
