About this object

An amulet in the form of a djed-pillar, both a symbol of the god Osiris and a hieroglyphic sign which means ‘enduring’, ‘stable’ and similar concepts. Laterally pierced in through the back pillar. Mould-made from blue-coloured glazed faience.
