About this object

Part of a lentoid- shaped in pale blue with inscription in dark blue with the name of Amenhotep III, Neb-maat-Re, in a cartouche with netjer nefer signs at the top. Two thread holes at one end for suspension. One end is broken.

Purchased at Sotheby's 15 December 1924, lot 437 "Part of a Bead, violet and blue with cartocuhe of Amen-hotep III; another of Tuthmosis IV; part of an ornamental Seal, with Tets in relief; a Scaraboid; two Scarabs; and a Pectoral Scarab (7)". Formerly in the collection of Gustave Natorp Esq.
