About this object

Replica of the ivory carved 'Tablet of Mena'. Original is in the Garstang Museum of Archaeology, University of Liverpool. Teh cast was made by a member of staff of the Ashmolean Museum for Professor John Garstang who discovered the object in his 1907 excavations at Naqada.
