About this object

Steatite scarab seal painted in white, with very fine details of the head, wings and legs carved on the back, and flat base inscribed with a representation of the god Heh symbolising eternity. Excellent preservation. Pierced through the length for threading. Recorded in the museum register as being from tomb 24 E'05. Looks very similar to one from tomb 269 E'06.
