About this object

Steatite scarab seal decorated on one side with details of the wings, head and legs. The other side is inscribed with hieroglyphs, including the cartouche of Thutmosis III. It is pierced through the length for suspension. Chipped and damaged in places. Record card says this scarab seal dates to the 18th Dynasty but it is probably a forgery.
