About this object

Steatite scarab seal with details of the head, wings and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with two circular signs, possibly a nefer sign crudely carved in the middle, and other hieroglyphs. Pierced through the length for suspension. Chipped in several places.

Record card says "Ex. Wallis Budge coll. Given Miss F. Lawrence I.O.M.", and dates the object to ca. 1200 BC.
