About this object

Steatite scarab seal with details of the head, wings and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with a feather and another hieroglyph which looks like an ankh signs with additional strokes or perhaps this is a stylised human figure (?), with 'neb' signs on each side. Pierced through the length for suspension. Chipped on one end.

Record card says "Ex. H. K. Myers Coll. Given Miss F. Lawrence I.O.M.".
