About this object

Bright turquoise glazed steatite scarab with decorated underside featuring interlacing pattern. Excellent preservation. Pierced through the length for suspension.

A note with a tray of scarabs says "spiral pattern on base" removed for the Discovery Centre 10 June 1994.
