About this object

Forgery of a carnelian scarab seal with details of the head, round eyes, wings and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with a depiction of a centaur running with bow and arrow, a bird and star above it. Pierced through the length for suspension. There is a remain of gold leaf on one side. Good preservation.
