About this object

Small squat shaped kohl pot with removable wide removable collar, conical shape narrow to a thin circular base. The circular collar has a hole at the centre with a lip on the underside to slot into the pot. The collar has sustained some damage to one side with a piece of the outer edge missing. The lid is missing. From tomb 24 A’06 at Abydos excavated by Professor John Garstang in 1906.
