About this object

Green glazed faience seal, oval shape, decorated on both sides with hieroglyphs, one side with a cartouche containing a representation of the goddess Maat (?). It is pierced through the length for suspension. Remains of a modern metal mount is visible in one end of the hole. The seal is chipped on that end, it appears to have been cause by the insertion of the metal mount inside the hole.
