About this object

White/grey glazed steatite scarab seal, flat and inscribed with hieroglyphs on both sides. One side is inscribed with a representation of the god Amun and the god Thoth. The other side is inscribed with a kheper sign, a ka sign, a 'mn' sign and a winged sun-disc. Pierced through the length for suspension. Slightly chipped in places.
