About this object

Round bead shaped steatite seal with flower design on one side, and flat base inscribed with the crown of upper and lower Egypt framed by two 'Hm' signs. Pierced through the middle for suspension. Slightly cracked on the back.

The accession number 13.12.05.30e was already given to a scaraboid seal in the form of a hedgehog. Both the current round seal and the hedgehod seal were found in the same box labelled with the same number, but with a note saying that the hedgehog might have the wrong number. The current seal was labelled as coming from Esna.
