About this object

Steatite scarab seal with details of the head, wings and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with a vulture outstretching its wings and holding a sun disc. Pierced through the length for suspension. Slightly chipped on the base.

Round blue label reads "Egyptian scarab ...?... vulture. 1931 GF Lawrence (spelling???) cost-3/".
