About this object

Turquoise glazed faience scarab seal with fine details of the head, wings and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with the seated figure of the goddess Maat with sun-disc above her head, ankh sign on the right, and neb sign at the bottom, possibly the name of Amenhotep III (Nebmaatra). Pierced through the length for suspension. Perfect condition.
