About this object

Black haematite in the shape of a plume of feathers or possibly a 'pesesh-kef'. The amulet has a perforated loop at the back for suspension. One of 24 amulets from the mummy of Djedher, Abydos, cemetery G50, Tomb 10, Petrie's excavations.
