About this object

Amulet in the form of a cobra, with head raised to strike. Worn to ward off snakebites. Mentioned in Spell 34 of the Book of the Dead.

Suspension loop at the end with carved lines for decoration. Exquisite workmanship. Small sticker on the end with the number '90'. Marked in ink with the former number 21.941.
