John Percival Droop

Classical Archaeologist

Classical Archaeologist at the Institute of Archaeology, University of Liverpool, from 1921 to 1948. After graduating from Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1904 he worked as a field archaeologist for the British School at Athens. He is most famous for analyzing Ancient Greek bowls from the 5th century BC which are also known as 'Droop cups'.
