About this object

A small jug with a spherical body and a cut away spout. A vetical strap handle is from the shoulder to the base of the spout. The jug has decoration of the Light-on-Dark technique with very deep red and lustrous slip and buffed vertical diagonal bands all along its body. The base of the spout has thick red circular bands along it and the diagonal edges of the mouth are decorated in deep red diagonal lines.
