Albreacht of Brandenburg was a Cardinal and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire. The younger son of John Cicero, Elector of Brandenberg, Albrecht was Elector of Archbishop of Mainz fr9om 1514 to 1545 and Archbishop of Magdeburg from 1513 to 1545. Cardinal Albrecht formed a collection of sacred objects, known as the Hallesches Heiltum, housed at the town of Halle.
