Impasto chalice with hollow pedestal foot, concave body, plain rim. Incised decoration on the body of a panel of 'Phoenician' palmettes and striated leaf patterns between thin, enclosed zigzag bands. Crude grafitto X in tondo. Dull, sandy fabric with much fine mica, fired dull grey-brown (black inside foot). Exterior covered with brick-red slip, through which the decoration was incised.
