About this object

Head of a boy of about 3 year old, head is turned to the left, his face is a round and chubby. His eyes look downwards and he has a slight smile. His hair is in tousled long curls with some amount of drilling. The head has a breakage at the base of the neck where it joins with the small triangular bust and the round base. The chin is also broken and the crown of the head had some restoration. Ashmole doubted whether it was ancient and dated it in the 3th 0r 4th century AD if it was. The head was reworked and lost its ancient character.
