Yasuyuki Namikawa

Japanese craftsman

Namikawa Yasuyuki was an Imperial Arts Craftsman living in Kyoto, he was considered to be one of the great shipoo artists. He began his career around 1868 and worked with the Kyoto Cloisonne Company from 1871-1874. He established his own studio and exhibited his work at national and international expositions. He retired in 1915 and his company closed soon afterwards.
