Philip Goldman

Vendor to the African and Oceanic Collection in the 1960s

Philip Goldman was a "Primitive Art" dealer and the owner of Gallery 43, at 43 George Street, London, W1, in the 1960s and 1970s.
Goldman was a dealer and collector who sold the museum various works of African and Oceanic art in the 1960s and both he and his wife Rosalind assisted Richard Hutchings (Curator of the Ethnology Department 1964-1970) in acquiring similar works from other sources. The Goldmans had an address at Apt. 6, 36 West Heath Road, London NW3.
