Gilt brass statue of Amitayus sat on a lotus pedestal and holding the Ambrosia vase. His jewellery is studded with small clips of turquoise and his hair is painted blue.

    Note on inventory card that the collecting site was Lhalung monastery in Tibet. Johh Claude White travelled to Lhalung monastery and into Tibet in 1905-06 following his mission to Bhutan to present Sir Ugyen Wangchuk with a Knighthood. Written by Emma Martin.
