Bronze cast statue of Historical Buddha. Buddha shown seated in yogic, meditational pose with left hand, palm down, shown reaching for earth in earth-witnessing or bhumisparsa mudra, right hand rests in lap. Buddha's robe highlighted with incised decoration. Hair has been left without gilt and coloured blue, some blue still visible. Buddha sits on a double lotus pedestal or throne. Base has lost cover and is open.
