Brass small statue of Historical Buddha. Buddha shown seated in yogic, meditational pose with right hand, palm down, shown reaching for earth in earth-witnessing or bhumisparsa mudra. Left hand holds bowl. Buddha's robe with pleating in between legs and at right shoulder. Hair has been left without gilt and painted blue. Buddha sits on a double lotus pedestal or throne. Base still has cover and contents are still in place.
