About this object

Bronze statue of Manjushri or Wenshu the Bodhisattva of Wisdom seated in pose of royal ease on the back of a lion. He wears the five jewelled crown and ornaments of the Bodhisattva and in the centre of his crown sits Amitabha. His right hand rests on his knee, while his left hand rests on the rump of the lion.
