About this object

Bronze statue of Padmasambhava. He wears the distinctive crown of Guru Rinpoche, although the final is missing. His robes and shawl are elaborately worked. He holds the dorje in his right hand and the bowl of nectar of liberation. He sits in yogic pose on a highly stylised single lotus pedestal. His base is open and the contents have been removed.
