About this object

A male official's thin pendant earring called a sochi (sobyis). A long thin earring, with a thick hoop, threaded with lozenge shaped motifs, which are inlaid with turquoise and seperated by a pearl. At the tip of the pendant is a large red glass bead. Probabaly worn by a low level official as not of the highest quality.
