About this object

A flat teardrop-shaped mask in red wool or felt-like cloth, edged with yellow. The mask has a black beard and the face is decorated with black stitching to pick out the eyes and moustache along with buttons and costume jewels. The nose is attached by two stitches that allow it to be folded back when travelling.
