About this object

A pricked and inked design for pair of shishi or lion dogs each holding onto a scarf that flares from a large flaming pearl in the centre. The two shishi are framed inside a Chinese style border with interlocking squares, diamonds and circles. The design is pricked onto a folded piece of paper.
