About this object

Two hooks. The largest 'c' scroll hook is made of a brass like copper alloy cast with a double dragon head design, emitting from their wide open mouth are two smaller dragon heads. The small hook is made from bell metal and has a 's' scroll shape with an elephant head design with a pin-like trunk.

    The inventory notes that Mrs Bailey rmarked that the hook used by her as a bird cage hook had once been a brooch. This appears to have been acquired during Colonel and Mrs Bailey's personal tour of the Himalaya.
