    The two designs are printed onto one piece of cloth and each design has been given a seperate accession number. The designs shown here were based on paper designs produced by Irma Bailey in Sikkim and Bhutan and she facilitated this donation from Jessie Brown to Liverpool Museum in 1965. Jessie Brown notes in her letter to Elaine Tankard that several designs were also based on Nepalese sunshades that she owned. Written by Emma Martin.
