About this object

An adze blade in mid green and pale green stone. The outline is asymmetrical and the cross-section an asymmetrical quadrangle. The butt is undifferentiated. The surface is polished. One side is grooved, with evidence of sawing. There is a convex bevel, and an irregular chin line. The cutting edge is convex and oblique. The front profile is convex, the back concave.

The cutting edge has been rounded off. The poll is badly broken, leaving the butt jagged. There are fractures on the back, and the remains of a label on the front..
