About this object

An adze blade in dark grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and a rounded rectangular cross-section. The butt surfaces are bruised and the blade surfaces ground and polished. There is a rounded depression in the poll. The bevel is convex and there is no chin line. The cutting edge is curved. The front and back profiles are convex.

The cutting edge is sharp.
