About this object

An adze blade in pale grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and rounded quadrangular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The poll surface is bruised, and parts of the sides and the back are bruised, the other surfaces ground. The bevel is convex with no chin line. The cutting edge is oblique. The front profile is convex, the back slightly concave.

The cutting edge is sharp and chipped. The front of the poll is chipped on one side.
