David John Carnegie (1865-1921), 10th Earl of Northesk, was a collector of archaeological and ethnographic items. After his death, his collection, housed at Tudor House, Southampton, and known as the 'Rosehill Collection', was auctioned by Christie, Manson and Woods, London, on 14 July 1924. Many items were sold to the Wellcome Collection and to Harry G Beasley. Some are now in the British Museum collections.
