About this object

Slender and rather graceful lizard. Red-brown to olive above, sometimes with pale or dark mottling, back and tail have conspicuous, dark-edged, whitish or yellow bands. Underside white, yellowish or blue-grey, breeding males have throat and sides of head suffused bright yellow, orange or red pigment. Length up to 490 mm.
