About this object

Small, slender snake with slightly flattened head barely distinct from its neck. Scales smooth and glossy, colour rich reddish-brown above edged with black to form a net-like pattern, belly is white or cream, The head and neck are glossy black with a bright red or orange patch at the back of the head. Length up to 40 cm.
